Do you love your job???  A recent poll in the New York Post indicated that 45% of Americans are satisfied with their work.  I happen to be one of those 45%!! I really enjoy what I do and want to share a bit about my experience.

I am a CPA and have been with CPA Consulting Group, LLC for eight years in various positions.  For the past two years, I have focused in the area of employee benefits and retirement plan services.  I lead our team in providing consulting, implementation and administration of 401(k) plans. This means that I get to work as a liaison between the employer offering the benefits, the participants receiving the benefits, and the investment company chosen to hold the assets.

In working with the employer, I get to facilitate helping a Company build a benefits package that encourages employee retention and longevity. I also get to be a part of the team that builds strength, opportunities for growth, and planning for the future within an organization and its most valuable asset—it’s people.
I have learned that employees want someone independent of their employer to help them understand the benefits being offered to them. I particularly enjoy serving in that capacity, because I enjoy knowing that I am helping them make vital decisions about their future.

When I recently had a tax client tell me they weren’t aware that we offered employee 401(k) plan services, I was mortified.  It made me realize that I needed to share what I do so that I can create more opportunities for growing our family of employee benefit plans at cpacg.

This is the time of year when employers are evaluating their compensation and benefits for their employees. So, spread the word to your friends and let them know I am here to help.
